This is the second painting in Nangeli series by Artist T Murali. It depicts the greatness of Nangeli, who by her brave act could stop the breast tax collected from the people under Travancore Kingdom (Present day Kanyakumari to Cochin). The painting also belittle the18feet long golden idol of Padmanabha (considered to be responsible for Travancore rule after the royal family declared themselves as servants of  Sree Padmanabha) in comparison with Nageli's sacrifice.
